Peiskos Literary Magazine

Peiskos Lit is a literary magazine dedicated to cultivating an accessible & comfortable community for young writers. We value diverse voices and accept previously published works. In Norwegian, “peis” means fireplace. The word “peiskos” describes the coziness of sitting snug in front of a fireplace. We believe that this word encapsulates the feeling we hope to nurture within the hearth of our community — safe, snug and comfortable. Here, young writers and their distinct voices are met with open arms, and are allowed to ebb and flow as they grow as writers. We encourage you to gather around the fireplace and add your own kindles to the flame!
